Seminarian Albert Arputhan — on pastoral exposure at CDM from 1st May 2024

Bro. Albert Arputhan joined the Major seminary in Penang – College General in 2016. After completing philosophical studies, he was sent to India and Sri Lanka for counseling, short courses and pastoral exposures. In 2020, he went to Saint Peter’s College, Kuching for theological studies and was there till 2021. In 2022, he did a 4 months pastoral in the Church of Saint Aloysious, Mantin, then a short work exposure in the Oil Palm estate till May’23. Later, in July’23, he was sent to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Setapak for a short pastoral. And now, to the Church of Divine Mercy, Shah Alam for another 5 months after which he will complete his theological studies.

Bro Albert hails from the parish of St Anne’s Port Klang. He plays football, loves music and movies. He is passionate about youth ministry, visiting the sick, and pastoring the less fortunate. He says, “I hope that my stay at CDM will be a memorable one, and I hope with God’s grace I will be able to continue my journey towards the priesthood faithfully”.
