MARIAN CONVENTION 2026 | 28 AUG – 8 SEPT 2026 (12 DAYS)
We welcome the Redemptorist priests who are with us this weekend for the Marian Convention:
Rev. Fr. Patrick Massang, C.Ss.R., Rev. Fr. Terence Wee, C.Ss.R., Rev. Fr. Charles Santhiyagu, C.Ss.R. & Rev. Fr. Sikstus Atawolo, C.Ss.R. and Rev. Fr. Shinu Poulose, V.C., from Divine Retreat Ashram, India, who will be with us from 30 August to 1 September. We are grateful for their presence and ministry among us, and we pray for a blessed and grace filled Marian Convention 2026.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR THE CARE OF CREATION | TUESDAY, 1 SEPTEMBER 2026 | 1PM MASS
The World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation will be observed on Tuesday, 1 September 2026. Let us pray and reflect on our responsibility to care for our common home and respond to the Church’s call to protect and nurture God’s creation.

CATHOLIC MINISTRY FOR THE DEAF (CMFD) | HOSTING COFFEE MORNING – SUNDAY, 6 SEPTEMBER 2026
The CMfD will be hosting a Coffee Morning on Sunday, 6 September, to help raise funds for delegates attending the 4th Asia Deaf Catholic Conference (ADCC) in South Korea from 15–21 October 2026. The conference will support the integration of Deaf individuals into Church life, while strengthening their faith, confidence and connection with the wider Deaf Catholic Community in Asia. Kindly come and give your generous support.

WHAT’S HAPPENING BEYOND CDM

Holy Hour for Malaysia Pastoral Convention 2026 | CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA, KL | FRIDAY, 4 SEPT 2026 | 6PM ADORATION | 7.30PM MASS
All are invited to join in prayer and fasting in preparation for the Malaysia Pastoral Convention 2026 on Friday, 4 September, at Church of Our Lady of Fatima. Adoration begins at 6.00pm, followed by the Eucharistic Celebration at 7.30pm.

International Day of Sign Languages 2026 | ST ANTHONY’S CHURCH, KL | SUNDAY, 27 SEPT 2026 | 7.30AM – 2.00PM (Interpreted Mass: 9.45 am)
Join the Catholic Ministry for the Deaf in celebrating International Day of Sign Languages on 27 September 2026 at St Anthony’s Church, Bukit Bintang, from 7.30am to 2.00pm. Followed by exciting interactive activities in Cahayasuara Centre. Please encourage your parishioners who are deaf and those interested to learn sign language and Deaf Culture to join us for this celebration. The theme is “Declaring Deaf People’s Human Rights.” Registration is required by 16 September 2026.

World Mental Health Day 2026 | MAHSA AVENUE INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE, KL | SATURDAY, 10 OCTOBER 2026 | 8.30PM – 4.30PM
Join the World Mental Health Day 2026 themed “Care for Caregivers” on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 8.30am to 4.30pm at Mahsa Avenue International College, Kuala Lumpur. The programme focuses on supporting and caring for caregivers. Registration is available via the QR code on the poster.
