Father George Harrison recently joined fellow alumni and priests in Penang to celebrate the 360th anniversary of College General. Founded in 1665 in Ayutthaya, Siam, and later relocated to India before settling in Penang, the seminary has journeyed through persecution, migration, and renewal. Today, College General stands as a beacon of priestly formation in Asia, having formed more than 1,000 priests serving across the region.
This historic celebration honoured its enduring legacy while looking forward to its ongoing mission of nurturing future shepherds of the Church.
